Willany Leó Improvizációs Táncszínház: szabad mozgás, élőzene, nyitott partitúrájú előadások. Minden este más. A színpadon minden ott és akkor születik: nincs előre betanult koreográfia, hanem a táncosok és zenészek valós időben hozzák meg döntéseiket.

Hogy lehet ezt elképzelni?
Egyszer mozdulatokból áll össze egy absztrakt vagy történetmesélő előadás, máskor előre lefektetett játékszabályok – partitúrák – alakítják a történéseket. És van, amikor teljesen nyitott marad a folyamat, ahol minden a pillanat hevében születik, és az előadás dramaturgiája is a színpadon alakul ki. Nem kell beszállnod vagy színpadra állnod. A zenészek és táncosok hozzák létre az előadást. A te szereped inkább az, hogy figyeld, mi történik benned, miközben nézed.
Miért jó ezt nézni?
Valódi kockázatot látsz: a művészek vásárra viszik a bőrüket. Van, hogy tökéletesen egymásra hangolódnak, máskor küzdenek a térrel és egymással. Te mit élvezel jobban: a hibátlan összhangot vagy a keresés izgalmát?
A partitúra lehet szigorú vagy teljesen szabad, de mindig közös gondolkodásra és együttműködésre épül, szorosan összefonódva az élőzenével.
A Willany Leóban ma húsz táncművész dolgozik, akik rotálódva lépnek színpadra. Estéről estére arra figyelnek, hogy a tudat megszólalhasson a test minden pontjából – a kislábujj hegyétől a fejbúbig.
Kik vagyunk mi?
A Willany Leó eredetileg heti improvizációs estként indult, majd közösséggé és kollektívává fejlődött. 18 év után is ugyanaz maradt a lényege: a jelen pillanat megélése, a test érzékeny figyelme és az élő kapcsolat a közönséggel.
Azóta számtalan formában szólítottuk meg a nézőket: részvételi színházi esteken, táncórákon, kiállításmegnyitókon, térspecifikus előadásokon és egyszeri performanszokon. Közös nyelvünk a szabadtánc, az improvizatív zene és a nyitott partitúra.
A Willany Leó művészei az elmúlt évek során olyan elveket fogalmaztak meg, amelyek segítik a színpadi táncos és zenész jelenlétét. Az Open Score olyan struktúra, amely nem csupán az improvizációs előadásmódot reformálja meg, hanem a mozgás és zene viszonyának mélyebb megértését is lehetővé teszi.

19. évadunkban is elsősorban szerdánként találkozunk – immár a MU Színház Káva termében, és kicsit korábban, 20:30-tól.
A rendszeres improvizációs esteken továbbra is a táncosok, zenészek és nézők közösségét igyekszünk építeni és megtartani.
Emellett új kutatásba is kezdünk, tematikus estekkel készülünk, lesz új bemutatónk, workshopjaink és más közösségi programjaink is.
Fiatalos lendülettel, horizontális működéssel, fejlődő szakmai háttérrel, elképesztő kitartással, rengeteg humorral és szeretettel várunk újra mindenkit.

Az eseményen kép- és hangfelvétel készül. A résztvevő a rendezvényen való részvételével hozzájárulását adja a megjelenésének, megnyilvánulásainak rögzítéséhez és közléséhez, azzal, hogy kizárólag kifejezett beleegyezésével nevezhető meg.

Everyone performs here who’s visible in the dark!
Willany Leó has come of age! In our 19th season, we continue to meet primarily on Wednesday evenings – now in the Káva Room of MU Theatre, and a bit earlier, starting at 8:30 PM. Our regular improvisation nights are still all about building and sustaining a community of dancers, musicians, and audience. This year we’re also diving into a new research project, launching curated evenings led by our dancers, presenting a brand-new performance, hosting workshops, and offering various community-based programs. With youthful energy, horizontal structures, a growing professional background, relentless persistence, tons of humor and love – we’re excited to welcome everyone once again.

Willany Leó Improvisational Dance Theatre: free movement, live music, open score performances. Every evening is different. No repetition, no choreography – only the moment, the body, and live music. This is Willany Leó.
On stage, everything is born there and then: no pre-learned choreography, but dancers and musicians making their decisions in real time.
How does this work?
Sometimes the performance takes shape as an abstract composition or a story, other times pre-set “rules of the game” (scores) shape what happens. And sometimes the process remains completely open, where everything is the product of a single moment – that’s us.
Why is it exciting to watch?
Because you witness real risk: the artists put themselves on the line. Sometimes they tune into each other perfectly, other times they struggle with the space and with one another. What do you enjoy more: flawless harmony, or the thrill of searching?
The score can be strict or completely free, but it always relies on collective thinking and collaboration, closely intertwined with live music.
Today, twenty dancers work with Willany Leó, rotating on stage. Night after night, their focus is on allowing consciousness to speak from every part of the body – from the tip of the little toe to the crown of the head.
Who are we?
Willany Leó began as a weekly improvisation night, and has since grown into a community and a collective. After 18 years, its essence remains the same: living in the present moment, a sensitive awareness of the body, and a live connection with the audience. Since then, we have reached audiences in countless forms: participatory theatre evenings, dance classes, exhibition openings, site-specific performances, and one-time happenings. Our shared language is free dance, improvisational music, and the open score.
Over the years, the artists of Willany Leó have formulated principles that support the presence of dancers and musicians on stage. Open Score is a structure that not only redefines the mode of improvisational performance, but also enables a deeper understanding of the relationship between movement and music.
