About this Event
This summer has proved more than ever that our gardens are already feeling the effects of a changing climate - and so is the wildlife that calls them home. In this practical talk, Helen Hutchings-Cox explores how we can create gardens that are more resilient to hotter summers, heavier and less predictable rainfall and changing seasons, while providing much-needed food, water and shelter for wildlife. From choosing plants and looking after our soil to managing water and creating a variety of habitats, it’s packed with simple, achievable ideas to help our growing spaces work a little harder for nature (whatever the weather throws at us!). There will be time for Q&A at the end to tackle any of your wildlife gardening questions.
