About this Event
If you enjoy, gardening, getting to know new people and generally being outside in nature why not join our weekly community garden session at Market Road Gardens. It's a great opportunity to contribute to a public green space, learn and share new skills and get some time outdoors.
We meet on Wednesdays, 10am to 12pm.
There's something for everyone at our sessions from sweeping paths and planting spring bulbs to creating habitat for wildlife. and if you just fancy sitting and enjoying being outside, that's fine.
Over the last year we've created wild flower meadows, woven hedges to edge beds and planted hundreds of native wild flowers.
No gardening experience is needed, as our gardeners will guide you through the activities.
We meet inside the park near the rose circle. You'll spot our signs and blue jackets.
Everyone is welcome, though under 16's should be with a responsible adult.
