CUTTING TOOL SAFETY
Safety is paramount in wilderness survival, and this is where we will start an in-depth practical session on cutting tool safety and techniques. Engage in hands-on activities to hone your skills, all while emphasizing the importance of responsible tool usage. You’ll need to use all you learn throughout the rest of the day and you’ll make some handy things to help you along the way also.
GAME PREPARATION – RABBIT
This one is all about rabbit and we will explore ethical and sustainable practices in handling and processing game. You’ll get the chance to participate in a demonstration and practice session on field dressing the animal, ensuring you leave with a practical understanding of turning it into nourishing sustenance.
PRACTICAL FIRE LIGHTING
While our feast is prepared, we will embark on a deep dive into the art of practical fire lighting will guide you through the intricacies of sourcing materials, building an effective fire lay, and utilizing both traditional and contemporary fire-starting techniques.
FOOD
The highlight of the day is the culmination of your newfound skills in our delicious fire-cooked meal. Revel in the satisfaction of sharing a fresh Rabbit stew cooked over an open flame, fostering a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
