Wild Flowers
This film follows two characters: Sophia, a wife and stepmom who has had it with expectations… and Joy, a transgendered woman, nonprofit professional and local singer who’s had it with negative pushback.
When Sophia finds herself seeking solace in nature… in good Tulsa fashion, Joy runs across her path, stops, and drops in to see if she’s okay. In the dark of night the two find the hope that good friends bring and with it the warmth of a bright new day.
This film is thanks to a beautiful team who believes in my vision, and I hope you will, too. I will also be recording an original song and score at the iconic Church Studios that I wrote for the film. - Beth Turner
