Wild Faaji: Freedom is a Melbourne Nigerian Independence celebration and cultural experience bringing together music, fashion, streetwear, creativity and community, before transforming into a high-energy Afro Rave celebration at night.

Four years ago, Wild Faaji began as a community-led idea rooted in rhythm, culture and the need for spaces where people could move freely and feel seen. Since then, we have created experiences that bring people together across cities through music, culture and community.
Wild Faaji: Freedom is our national celebration of Nigerian Independence, honouring the culture, sound and spirit that connect Nigeria to its global diaspora. Nigerian Independence is more than a date on a calendar. It represents identity, resilience, creativity and the freedom to shape what comes next.

Wild & Free is the philosophy behind this year's Freedom Tour. We are bringing together music, fashion, creativity, enterprise and culture to create spaces where people can connect, express themselves, showcase what they are building and open doors for others.
🛍️ THE SOUK MARKET & DAY EXPERIENCE
During the day, Wild Faaji: Freedom brings the Souk Market to Melbourne, creating a space for streetwear, fashion, independent brands, creators, food, culture and community.
Explore the market, discover new brands, connect with creatives and experience African and diaspora culture beyond the dancefloor.
As the day progresses, the market experience transitions into the full Wild Faaji Afro Rave, bringing Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Hip Hop and global Black sounds to the night.
For one day, Melbourne becomes a meeting point for the African diaspora, bringing together music, fashion, creativity, culture and community.
Expect streetwear, independent brands, creative energy, heavy sounds, Afrobeats, Amapiano and the unmistakable Wild Faaji experience.
