🍂 FALL HARVEST GATHERING AT WILD ACRES HOMESTEAD 🍂Come spend a fall evening with us at Wild Acres Homestead.
📅 Saturday, October 17
⏰ 4:00–8:00 PM
📍 Wild Acres Homestead | Lenoir City, TN
🎟️ FREE family event
This gathering is about good food, real conversation, local connection, and remembering that homesteading was never meant to be something we do completely alone.
Bring the family. Bring a dish to pass. Bring a lawn chair if you’d like. And come ready to meet the people in your community who are growing, raising, baking, building, making, preserving, and creating.
We’ll have outdoor activities, plenty of time to visit and network, and a chance to:
🌾 Find Your Farmer — connect with local farmers, growers, producers, and homesteaders.
🧺 Find Your Cottage Business — meet local bakers, makers, artisans, and small home-based businesses.
🍲 Share a Meal — bring a favorite dish to pass and gather around the table together.
🔥 Enjoy Outdoor Family Fun — relaxed, simple activities for the whole family.
We’ll also sit down for a conversation around:
“Why Your Homesteading Journey Feels Heavy”
Because sometimes the dream of a simpler life starts feeling anything but simple.
We think we have to grow everything, preserve everything, raise everything, learn every skill, and somehow do all of it ourselves.
But maybe the answer isn’t doing more.
Maybe it’s knowing your farmer. Supporting the cottage business down the road. Learning one skill at a time. Sharing resources. Building relationships. And remembering why you wanted this life in the first place.
You don’t need acreage.
You don’t need livestock.
And you definitely don’t need to have homesteading all figured out.
Come as you are.
Free. Family-friendly. No perfection required.
