Picnic in the Park
Sometimes healing looks like a conversation over a picnic dinner, a walk through the trees, a little laughter, or simply spending an afternoon with people who understand.
Join us for a relaxed Widow & Widower Community Picnic at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea. This is an opportunity to step outside, enjoy nature, share a meal, meet new people, and spend time with others who understand what it means to navigate life after the loss of a spouse.
Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are welcome here.
This is not a formal grief support group or therapy session. There is no expectation to talk about your loss or share anything personal. Come as you are, participate as much or as little as feels comfortable, and simply enjoy being part of a welcoming community.

- Comfortable clothes/layers if the weather is chilly

We will gather in a designated picnic area within the park. Specific picnic area details will be shared with registered attendees prior to the gathering.
Please note that OC Parks charges a day-use parking fee. Please bring cash for parking.
