During the summer and fall, Coastal Hospice hosts four community-based memorial ceremonies. These are at no cost and open to the public. The purpose of these gatherings is to provide a time of remembrance and reflection. Part of our time together will include a shell ritual. Sea shells are provided to all attendees or you’re invited to bring your own shell. Bereavement Counselors are present to offer grief support and general information about the organization to those interested in learning more about the services Coastal Hospice offers.Open to all family and community members who have experienced the death of a loved one—whether or not Coastal Hospice was part of your journey. Anyone is welcome to this memorial gathering, where we recall the names and memories of loved ones and honor them.
