Have your say on the Northern Water project!
The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed Northern Water project is now available for public consultation.
The purpose of the project is to supply water to industry in South Australia's Upper Spencer Gulf and Far North regions, via a desalination plant (Mullaquana Station, approx 25 kms south of Whyalla) and pipeline transfer system.
The EIS examines the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of the project and the measures proposed to manage those impacts.
Community members, stakeholders and interested organisations are invited to review the consultation materials, register and attend an information session and provide feedback.
