This month at Why I’m Building This, we’re featuring Ashley and Alyssa, founders of Leeloh and Co.!If you’re a parent, you probably know the feeling.
You hear about the perfect camp after registration closes. See an event on Instagram the day after it happened. Find yourself bouncing between websites, Facebook groups, school emails, flyers, and word of mouth trying to figure out what’s actually out there for your kids.
Ashley and Alyssa knew that problem personally.
So they started building Leeloh and Co., one place designed to make it easier for families to discover local activities, events, camps, classes, services, and resources, while also helping the people and organizations creating those opportunities reach more families.
At the heart of it is a pretty simple idea: help families spend less time searching and more time doing.
Join us as Ashley and Alyssa share where the idea came from, what they’ve learned turning a problem they experienced as moms into something they’re building for other families, and their vision for making it easier for people to connect with more of what their community has to offer.
Whether you’re building a company, working through an idea of your own, or just curious about the people creating interesting things here in Helena, come hang out.
Why I’m Building This is a monthly gathering for founders, makers, and people in the middle of building something. No pitches. Just the real story behind the work.
