This is an open event where we learn, collaborate with, and teach each other about Design, innovation (and SOLIDWORKS).
Everyone is welcome, regardless of your experience level with SOLIDWORKS. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just curious about 3D design, this meetup is the perfect place to network, learn, and share cool projects.
You don’t have to be a SOLIDWORKS user, and you don’t have to be a CAD user to join us; you just need to be curious.

Featured Speakers:
Simon Kwan
Simon Kwan is an industrial design and product development leader with over two decades of international experience taking physical products from napkin sketch to mass manufacturing. Originally starting in automotive engineering in the US, Simon's career spans consumer electronics, premium audio, rugged mobile accessories, luxury packaging, airline & hotel hospitality supply, and fashion and home lifestyle accessories across the US, Mainland China, and Hong Kong.
He previously served as Head of Design at Catalyst, delivering extreme-protection mobile tech accessories, and as Senior Design Manager at KEF (GP Acoustics), overseeing the team that brought forth award-winning hi-fi speakers such as the LS60 and LSX. As an inventor and entrepreneur, Simon successfully crowdfunded and launched Qaramel (SIMPLcase) into Apple Retail stores across the Asia-Pacific region. Balancing hands-on artisan craft with cutting-edge AI-integrated workflows, Simon views industrial design as a human-centered bridge between creative vision, engineering rigor, and real-world commercial impact.
