About this Event
Join J in an exploration of Spolin Technique. Whether you are a newcomer, seasoned improviser or want to knock the dust off by learning a new way of looking at improv, Spolin is for you! Viola Spolin is the Fairy Godmother of Improv, and where American improv as a whole started, so let's explore using the games of her legacy as a way of looking at the work from a different perspective!

J. McClain is a Native Virginian who studied theatre in North Carolina, grew into a Performance Artist in New York City and has been working with the Coalition for 4 years, most recently performing with the house team Street Jelly and previously finishing their run on the house team Grandma Cat. They are excited to teach a class this semester and enjoying the play and laughter that will come!
