David Hoffman & Ken Nolan, from the creators (David Hoffman, Rob Reiner & Dick Russell) of the hit podcast of the same name, Who Killed JFK?
About this Event

From the creators of the hit podcast of the same name, Who Killed JFK? unravels a tangled web of evidence—including recently declassified documents, rare interview transcripts, and existing expert research—and presents the definitive analysis of the Kennedy assassination.

Since the fateful day in Dallas on November 22, 1963, journalists, historians, and investigators have examined the official record of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, yet a clear and conclusive explanation has remained elusive. Until now.

Synthesizing decades of research with original investigative work, Rob Reiner, David Hoffman, and Dick Russell reconstruct the assassination with scholarly rigor and narrative urgency. As the conspiracy unfolds, we find a botched autopsy, two compromised investigations, numerous suspicious deaths, and countless cover-ups within the very institutions charged with uncovering the truth. This book assembles the long-scattered fragments of the investigation into a coherent and riveting case and finally decodes America’s greatest M**der mystery.

At a time when political violence and distrust in the government are reaching new highs, this answer—and the reasons why—may be more important than ever.

David Hoffman is a writer, historian, and screenwriter whose work unites scholarly rigor with cinematic storytelling. He earned a BA in history from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School. With fifteen years of experience on Wall Street and an early career as a child actor, Hoffman brings both rigorous analysis and dramatic sensibility to his work. He developed, executive-produced, and wrote the #1-ranked, award-winning podcast Who Killed JFK?, acclaimed for its depth of research, intellectual clarity, and driving narrative force. Hoffman lives in the Pacific Palisades with his wife and their three children.

Ken Nolan is best known as the screenwriter who adapted Mark Bowden’s best selling “Black Hawk Down” for producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Ridley Scott, which was released in 2002. The movie went on to be nominated for four Academy Awards and won two. Nolan was nominated for a WGA Award for his work. He went on in 2007 to win the WGA Award for the cold war thriller TNT mini-series “The Company,” based on the best-selling book by Robert Littell.

When he was 27 years-old and living paycheck to paycheck as an assistant in Hollywood, Nolan sold his first screenplay to Warner Brothers in 1994. He went on to sell record setting amounts for spec screenplays over the next 20 years. He hails from Portland, Oregon and Buffalo, New York, and traveled between each growing up due to divorced parents who wanted to get as far away from each other as humanly possible.

Nolan wrote “Transformers 5: The Last Knight,” for Michael Bay and Paramount Pictures. He co-wrote the screenplay with writing team Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (“Iron Man”). Nolan also wrote “Only the Brave,” based on “No Exit,” a GQ article by Sean Flynn, which recounted the story of the Arizona Granite Mountain Hot Shot firefighters, 19 of whom tragically lost their lives in a wildfire in 2013. Joe Kosinski directed for Black Label Media and Lions Gate Pictures.

He sold the spy thriller screenplay “The Defection,” based on yet another Robert Littell novel, to Fox. The script placed Nolan on the coveted “Black List” in Hollywood, a list of the 50 best scripts of that year. Additionally “The Amateur,” another Littell adaptation by Nolan, was released in theaters in 2025.
