Worried about the extreme heat, drought and wildfires we’ve seen this summer?
Join us for a free community screening of a striking film about climate change. The People’s Emergency Briefing is eye-opening 50-minute film, based on leading scientific research on why it matters for things like:
🌧️ Extreme weather 🍞️ Food security 🏥️ Health 💷️ Cost of living
The film is fronted by Chris Packham, with appearances from Deborah Meaden, Jennifer Saunders, Konnie Huq, and range of voices from across the UK.
This summer has been the hottest in living memory with numerous records broken for prolonged heat and drought. This film seeks to fill the information gap on the climate crisis left by the country’s leaders.
After the film there will be a 30-minute guided discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.
Please arrive from 7pm, the film will start promptly at 7.30pm.
Please bring a friend, neighbour or family member. Everyone is welcome! Light refreshments available.
