Three bourbons. Three very different profiles. One question: which one do you actually like best when the label is taken away?
Join the 801 Bourbon Society for a blind bourbon tasting featuring High West Bourbon, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, and Wild Turkey Rare Breed.
Each whiskey will be poured anonymously as A, B, or C, so brand, price, proof, and reputation stay out of the equation until the end.
We’ll taste through all three together, compare nose, palate, mouthfeel, and finish, rank our favorites, and then reveal the bottles to see how our expectations match up with what was actually in the glass.
Whether you’re deep into bourbon or still figuring out what you like, this is a relaxed, approachable way to sharpen your palate, learn what makes each whiskey different, and enjoy some good conversation along the way.
