Step into a deeply soothing, otherworldly experience designed to quiet the mind, soften the body, and restore your natural rhythm. The Whidbey Floating Sound Journey invites you to surrender into stillness as yonic tones. These vibrations travel through the water and into the body, encouraging deep relaxation, enou are gently supported on warm water, surrounded by the soft glow of candlelight. As you float effortlessly, your body is fully cradled, allowing your nervous system to release and your muscles to unwind without effort. The water becomes a womb like space of safety and weightlessness, helping you let go of physical tension, emotional stress and mental noise. You will be guided through a sound journey using healing instruments such as crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, drums and other energetic clearing, and a meditative state that is often difficult to reach.
The evening begins with your arrival at the pool. You will be greeted, given a blanket and eye mask (optional to bring your own), then you will be gently loaded onto your flotation mattress and covered with a blanket. Your feet may get wet during this transition, but other than that you will remain dry. Please wear something cozy and comfortable. However, there is always the potential for a splash during transition, so quick-dry clothing or swimwear is recommended, with a towel and dry change of clothes on hand just in case.
Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the event starts to allow for all participants to be safely entered onto the water.
The Whidbey floating sound bath begins at 6pm and lasts for 50-60 minutes. Sound vibrations will fill the air and be felt through the water as you float effortlessly. Allow 15-20 minutes after the sound bath ends to allow all participants to be guided back to the poolside for a safe exit.
