4- and 8-Hour Rogaine event at Northwoods Park in Hot Springs, AR. This event will be a typical Rogaine format where there will be 20 to 30 checkpoints total that will each have a point value assigned based on the level of difficulty (physical and/or navigational). There will be 4 Hour and 8 Hour options, meaning either a 4-hour cut-off or an 8-hour cut-off. Racers must choose their route and strategy to try to earn the most points within the 4 or 8 hours. Racers on both courses will receive the same map and start at the same time (8:00 a.m.) but will be ranked separately.
Open to Solos and Teams of 2-4 people. Each person must register separately. Solos will still be asked to provide a team name in the registration process. Pay at the event with check, cash, or PayPal/Venmo.
The Northwoods Trails park is just north of the city of Hot Springs and is known for its mountain biking trails (https://www.northwoodstrails.org/).
Additional event details will be posted on the OCAR website and Facebook event page and emailed to registrants closer to the event.
