An evening with Wild Kin Collective
Wild Kin Collective creates welcoming social experiences for curiosity, connection, creativity and belonging - bringing together the wild, creative and complex human beings we are.
Join Caroline & Kate for an evening of music, movement, expression and connection. A space for women to come together, have a little fun and simply be themselves.
Expect a playful taste of belly dance, world rhythms, free dancing, shared stories, adornment, poetry, refreshments and an invitation to share a story, dance, song or something of yourself.
Dance, listen, watch, rest or join in - there’s no right way to be here and no experience needed, and sharing is always optional.
Wear jeans and trainers or full on glamour - just come as your beautiful self.
Hot and cold refreshments. Snacks TBC. We invite you to bring a snack to share for the Wild table (please label these clearly for allergens).
We are offering this as a free event, donations are gracefully accepted on the night.
Booking your place is required to enable us to accommodate everyone comfortably.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Arriving & noticing
Info: 6.15pm – We’ll begin with a few gentle moments to arrive, notice how we’re feeling and, if we wish, set an intention for the evening.

Belly Dance Fusion with Caro
Info: A playful, half-hour introduction to belly dance fusion. No previous experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to give it a go!

World Rhythms & Freestyle Movement
Info: We’re hoping to welcome a DJ for an hour of tunes to get us moving, dancing or simply enjoying the music. DJ details to be confirmed.

Open Floor: Sharing & Expression
Info: Caro will share a poem or short performance, opening an invitation for anyone who wishes to share a little of themselves. This could be a song, poem, story, dance, something from your culture, a few words or another creative expression.
We have around 30-45 minutes in total for contributions, so if you’d like to share something, please let us know in advance.

Free Dancing & Gathering
Info: Time to move, express yourself, enjoy the music and simply be together. The evening will continue with space for dancing, connection and whatever unfolds.

Info: We’ll have a space with fabrics, veils and costume pieces for you to explore and adorn yourself, along with a glitter station for adding a little sparkle.

Refresh & Nourish
Info: Tea, coffee, water and juices will be available, including a selection of wild teas. Donations towards refreshments are gratefully appreciated. You are welcome to bring your own.
We’re still finalising the snack arrangements, but you’re welcome to bring something to share on our Wild Table. Please keep food in its original packaging or label it clearly with ingredients and allergen information.
