ABOUT CHEF JOSUE RIVAS:
Josue Rivas is a Peruvian chef, restaurateur, and founder of Savir Foods, a Texas-based condiment company known for its bold, chef-crafted flavors. Drawing inspiration from his Peruvian heritage and culinary experiences in Los Angeles, Florida, Oregon, and Texas, Josue creates memorable food rooted in culture, connection, and exceptional ingredients. A former restaurant owner and operator, he brings years of expertise in hospitality and menu development to everything he creates. His nationally recognized Savir Foods products, featured on multiple seasons of Hot Ones, showcase his passion for elevating everyday meals through vibrant, thoughtfully crafted flavor.
Menu
- Shrimp Ceviche - a bright, creamy dish featuring Savir Foods Lemon Drop Hot Sauce, fresh lime, buttermilk, crisp celery, quick-pickled red onion, roasted sweet potato, and popcorn for crunch.
- Roasted Chicken - roasted chicken quarters served with a rich, smoky Poblano Morita mole, creamy mashed potatoes, and a bright radish–scallion relish finished with Savir Foods Elotes Loco Hot Sauce. Toasted sesame seeds add a final nutty crunch.
- Braised Short Ribs - bone-in short ribs slowly braised in Savir Foods Seco Rojo Cooking Sauce, served over savory cannellini beans and finished with a fresh Jala Pepa chimichurri. Savir Foods Sassy Texan Hot Sauce adds a subtle smoky heat to the beans.
