About this Event
Where Desire Meets Capacity: The Alignment Advantage is a workshop about the gap that limits every business and the structural move that closes it.
Led by Liz McMillan, Strategic Alignment Advisor, keynote speaker, and creator of The 3 Transformations of Alignment, this session explores why so many organisations struggle to achieve their ambitions. A two-time CEO with more than 20 years of leadership experience in technology, publishing, and SaaS, Liz has led major business transformations, overseen more than $500M in M&A activity, and successfully scaled and exited businesses including Dictionary.com and Teach Starter.
Most business challenges are not strategy or capability problems. They are alignment problems. When ambition outpaces a business's capacity to deliver, performance stalls, teams become stretched, and growth becomes harder to sustain.
Through real-world leadership stories and practical frameworks, Liz introduces the Desire-Capacity Matrix, a diagnostic tool that helps leaders identify where their business sits today and what is needed to unlock future growth. You'll learn how alignment drives momentum, why organisations often get stuck, and how to build the capacity needed to achieve bigger ambitions.
This workshop is ideal for business leaders looking to create greater clarity, alignment, and sustainable growth.
Coffee and light breakfast refreshments will be provided.
