About this Event

When to Stand, When to Bow: A Prayer Class from Sanctuary to Shabbat Table
You know the basics. But when you walk into a synagogue, do you know when to stand, bow, or sit? What if you're called up to the Torah? Could you lead Shabbat at home without wondering what comes next?
This five-week, in-person class is for anyone who wants to feel more comfortable doing Jewish. We'll practice the prayers and rituals, learn the unwritten rules of synagogue, and bring more Shabbat into our homes. Every class ends with time for your questions.
