I'm excited to offer When Survival Walks Into the Therapy Room, a 3-hour, in-person workshop for therapists who want to deepen their work with complex trauma.
We'll look at what happens when survival strategies show up inside the therapeutic relationship - through shutdown, avoidance, intense emotion, compliance, resistance, dissociation, conflicting needs, and the patterns that can leave even experienced clinicians wondering, "What is happening here, and how do I work with it?"
This is not an introduction to trauma theory. It's about learning to recognize what is happening beneath the presentation, make sense of protective adaptations in real time, and respond in ways that help therapy move forward.
