When Leaves Fall\u2026 A Cacao Ceremony for New Beginnings

Autumn reminds us of something nature has always known: nothing is meant to stay the same.
About this Event

A heart-centered cacao ceremony As the leaves begin to fall, trees release what they no longer need not because they have stopped growing, but because they are making space for what comes next.

We too move through seasons of endings and beginnings.

Sometimes we hold on to people, identities, stories, habits, or versions of ourselves long after their season has passed. We resist the ending because we are afraid of what comes after.

But what if an ending isn’t really an ending?

What if it is an invitation?

An invitation to surrender. To release. To make space. To trust the intelligence of life.

Join us for an intimate Cacao Ceremony & Ceremonial Concert as we gather in community to honor the wisdom of autumn and the sacred cycles of life.

Through ceremonial cacao, meditation, breath, intentional reflection, and live medicine music, we will create space to gently explore:

🍂 What are you ready to release?

🍂What season of your life are you moving through?

🍂 What are you holding onto that is asking to be surrendered?

🍂 What new space is being created within you?

Cacao will be our heart-opening companion as we slow down, listen inward, and remember that sometimes we must allow something to end in order for something new to begin.

There is no need to rush the next chapter.

Just as the tree does not force the leaves to grow back, we can learn to trust the cycles of our own becoming.

Come as you are.
Release what is ready to fall.
Make space for what is waiting to bloom.

The leaves fall.
The roots remain.
And life begins again. 🍂🤎🍫

Jeffrey Connors, also known as as eljeffre, is a multi-instrumentalist musical artist primarily active in New York City. He focuses both in the wildly expressive nightlife scene and also in areas where the focus is more so oriented toward healing, focus and integration. Despite these areas being seemingly opposed, he brings a common energy of ingenuity, artistry and connection to every circumstance - continuously finding that the shadow work at night informs the light work during the day.

His work with Cacao has taught him much over the years, namely that one must quiet the mind in order to listen better to the subtleties of the heart. Every Cacao ceremony ends up being a ritual into the exploration of these subtleties, and he expresses this in the way he plays music during ceremony. Attention to the slightest sonic sensations seems to stimulate the strongest sense of musical wonder in such scenarios.

Within the context of ceremony you will most likely find him playing guitar, flute, drum and synthesizer - as well as prepared soundscapes & samples. He strives toward the evocation of a sense of ancient future, combining timeless traditions with the latest technological capabilities. Doing so allows one to acknowledge the ways of the elders before our time, while also taking up their example of forging forward into new understandings using the means and tools of the current zeitgeist.

SARA, a soulful alchemist of the heart, a guardian of the earth, and a nurturing community builder from Medellin, Colombia. Sara is a multifaceted artist and a sacred space holder, devoted to fusing the ancient wisdom of cacao, the teachings of yoga, the power of breathwork, and the healing medicine of sound.

Her mission is to guide humans along a journey of self-discovery, connecting them to the core of their being and illuminating their authentic, radiant, and multi-dimensional selves through the elemental teachings of nature. As she honors her inner wisdom, she strives to inspire others to embark on their own self-empowered journey, inviting them to tune into their inner teacher's call.

In her eyes, healing is a symphony of diverse notes that includes the exploration of body, mind, and spirit. To uphold this holistic vision, Sara remains dedicated to preserving ancient practices and traditions. With reverence, she continues to weave the threads of cacao medicine, the practice of yoga and pranayama, and the resonance of medicinal melodies into the offerings she shares with the world.

Sara is not only a certified actress, song writer, vocalist, performer, and designer, but also a channel for the sacred. Drawing deeply from her enriched education and cultural heritage, she employs art as a conduit for communion with the divine, transmutation, and elevation of the human spirit.

Sara is a moon dancer and vision quester, she’s is the co-creator and co-founder of Gaia Nomaya while also serving as the creatrix behind HearthbySARA. For her, teaching is a blessing, sound is medicine, and ceremony is a sacred service.
