ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
What happens when the challenge isn’t too little self-control — but too much?
Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) is designed to address problems associated with maladaptive emotional overcontrol, including patterns that may contribute to social disconnection & treatment-resistant depression.
During this presentation, Nathan & Jimmy will provide an overview of RO-DBT theory & methods, helping clinicians better understand emotional overcontrol and how these patterns may show up in the clients they serve.
Attendees will be introduced to key RO-DBT concepts & gain a greater understanding of how openness, flexibility, social signaling, & meaningful connection can play a role in treatment.
🌵 WHO CAN ATTEND?
Our luncheons are open to mental health professionals throughout Central Ohio. You do not need to purchase CEUs to attend.
Come learn something new, connect with fellow clinicians, & enjoy lunch with our growing community of mental health professionals!
