Join us for a meandering playground ride finishing with free hot chocolate! 🚲When: Sunday 27 September, 10.30am
Where: Te Kōtuitanga Park | Olympic Park Playground
Registration is essential.
This is a slow, short ride for young children and whānau — all bodies and all bikes welcome. Bring your kiddies along with their scooter or bike.
The nearby Bike Hub New Lynn will be open for bike checks and second-hand bike sales, so arrive a little early if you need their assistance.
We'll meander around Olympic Park, then along the New Lynn to Avondale shared path to Chalmers Reserve playground for a play, before heading back to Daily Bread for free hot chocolates, fluffies and coffee.

The pace is very slow and easy, suitable for kids on balance bikes and scooters — adults can cycle alongside or walk. The 5km route (2.5km one-way) is mostly flat, with a small hill near Chalmers Reserve.
