Power-WITH relationships are the medicine to confront power-over systems! 🍄🟫 “What’s My Role In The Village" guides you to locate your role in community - understand what gifts you carry, what you need from others, and how different kinds of people make collective work possible.
Through guided mapping exercises, somatic art & movement activities, small group dialog, and a little creative whimsy, you’ll walk away with a map of your medicine & power, and genuine connection with the people in your local community.
This workshop draws from two frameworks: Deepa Iyer’s Social Change Ecosystem Map, which names the many roles that sustain movements; and the Three Sisters (corn, beans, and squash) a companion planting tradition rooted in Indigenous agricultural knowledge that shows us how different plants, like different people, need each other to survive and thrive. 🌽🫘
