The August storms left much of the Region without power for days and the impact of rising living costs were only worsened. Groceries spoiled. Pantry staples dwindled. Appointments were missed, and the bills that followed landed on households already stretched thin.And it isn't stopping there. Utilities are up. Groceries are up. Healthcare costs more and is harder to reach. Meanwhile, changes to Indiana's Medicaid program are coming with new work and reporting requirements.
