About this Event
What’s the Tea is a social-emotional and life-skills group for students in Grades 6–8, providing a supportive and engaging space for middle school students to decompress after school, connect with peers, complete homework, and explore topics relevant to their everyday lives. Each Thursday from 3:30–5:30 PM, students will participate in group discussions, interactive activities, games, homework support, mindfulness and coping activities, and conversations focused on topics such as self-esteem, friendships, boundaries, communication, stress, peer pressure, decision-making, social media, healthy relationships, and more. The group is youth-centered and encourages students to share their perspectives, ask questions, build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and strengthen their social-emotional and life skills in a welcoming environment.
