About this Event

This hands-on workshop introduces photographers to the latest AI-powered tools in Photoshop 2026, including the new Generative Fill partner models and Harmonize, which quickly and seamlessly integrates people or objects into any background. Photoshop now automatically adjusts lighting, color, shadows, and contextual details to create more convincing composites.

You’ll also learn how to choose the right AI model for each task—Adobe Firefly, Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana), FLUX.1 Kontext, and the new Topaz Labs partner models—while maintaining realistic texture, tone, and color. We’ll cover how Adobe plan credits work so you understand the cost and usage behind these features. The session is practical and workflow-focused, guiding you from masking to compositing to final refinements.

Key skills you’ll learn:

● When and how to use the new partner AI models in Generative Fill

● Blending people and objects into new scenes with Harmonize

● Improved AI masking and object selections

● Cleaning, expanding, and rebuilding scenes with better realism

● Understanding Adobe plan credits and AI usage costs

● A complete start-to-finish AI-assisted editing workflow

This class is intended for intermediate students with a basic understanding of selections and layers

REQUIREMENTS:

What to bring: Bring your laptop with Adobe Photoshop 2026 installed.

Instructor Bio: Upon receiving her BFA in Photography from Otis Parsons School of Design, Natasha Calzatti, a photographer and digital retoucher, went on to shoot award-winning photography for THE NEW YORK TIMES, NEWSWEEK, PEOPLE, and VIBE, and has been syndicated internationally. Her work is represented in many private collections and has been shown publicly in Los Angeles and, more recently, in Portland, Oregon’s Black Box Gallery, June 2012. Simultaneous to her photography career, Natasha found herself at the cutting edge of imaging as it transitioned from the chemical darkroom to the digital darkroom, where her abilities became increasingly in demand for magazine clients, TV Guide, Marie Claire, Time Magazine, The Source, and Vibe, as well as advertising clients Midas, MCI, and Dreyfus. In 2011, Ms. Calzatti was invited to The Getty Center to share her behind-the-camera experiences of Cuba as she presented an in-gallery exploration of A Revolutionary Project: Cuba from Walker Evans to Now. Today, Ms. Calzatti divides her time between shooting assignments and lecturing on digital imaging issues both in the U.S and abroad. You can see her current work at http://www.calzattifoto.com.
