Dr Alan Desmond is a full-time NHS Consultant Gastroenterologist. He studied medicine at University College Cork, Ireland and completed his postgraduate training in Cork, Dublin and Oxford. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Desmond is an author, podcaster and public advocate for a healthier and more sustainable food system. He shares his insight on Instagram to 170k followers.
