Our next open program for membership and the public will be held at Ford Rockwell Library, 5939 E 9th St., on Monday, Sept. 28 at 6 pm. (NOTE: This is a new location).Here is your chance to ask questions about the upcoming vote for the USD#259 Bond Issue. Our guest speaker will be an administrator from USD #259.
Once again, a question on our Kansas ballot proposes a change to our constitutional amendment. The League of Women Voters of Kansas recommends voting NO. We are ready to share our talking points as to why.
Lastly, we will have a list of activities where all of us can participate in getting out the Vote (GOTV). Bring a friend; ask lots of questions, and be ready to take action!
Registration is not required. The public is invited to attend.
