Dark Moon Cacao & Sound RitualWhat We Cannot Carry
There comes a point in the turning year when we have to decide what comes with us.
October brings us closer to Samhain and deeper into the dark half of the year. The light is receding, the earth is releasing, and the Dark Moon offers us a quiet place to notice what we may still be carrying long after it has served its purpose.
For our October gathering, we will sit with one question:
What am I carrying that does not need to cross into the dark season with me?
We’ll begin with ceremonial cacao before moving into a guided ancestral journey, inviting the wisdom of those who came before us to help illuminate what is ready to be seen.
From there, Amie and Shawn will guide us through meditation and immersive sound with crystal singing bowls and frame drum, allowing time for whatever has surfaced to settle into the body. As with our recent gatherings, symbolic, intuitive, or oracular messages may also emerge naturally within the ritual.
But October is not about immediately letting go.
It is about seeing. Naming. Listening.
Whatever you discover, you are invited to carry that awareness with you for a little while.
Our November Dark Moon gathering, The Cave of the Mother, will offer the next part of this journey: a space for returning, releasing, and laying down what we discover we can no longer carry.
Each gathering also stands completely on its own. You do not need to attend both to participate fully.

Registration is required and our cacao gatherings are intentionally kept small.
What to Bring
Yoga mat, blanket, water, journal and pen, and any sacred or ancestral items you would like with you. A pillow is optional.
No previous experience is necessary.
