About this Event
What Remains? An immersive journey through memory, love, loss, and resilience.
From the silence surrounding the HIV/AIDS epidemic to the isolation of COVID-19, GAYUERNICA brings two pandemics together in one deeply personal story—about those we lost and those who remain.
This is more than a memorial. It is an act of remembrance, a celebration of survival, and a call to bear witness—so that the lives lost are never forgotten and history is never allowed to repeat itself.
Come experience the story.
Remember the lives.
Become the witness.
And because memory is also carried through gathering, nourishment, and community, artist Michelangelo Alasa will be cooking and serving food for his guests.
The exhibition. The experience. The food.
All free. Come as you are.
