About this Event
Most people know AI can answer questions, write something, or help with office work. That is not what this workshop is about.
See what happens when AI leaves the blank chat box and starts working with the things already around you: a receipt, a photo, ingredients in your kitchen, a product label, a confusing set of choices, or something that simply is not working.
What could you save? Time. Money. Frustration. Maybe more.
What we will do together:
Take AI into everyday decisions such as shopping, comparing products, meal planning, travel, and figuring out where to start.
Bring it into the physical world by working with photos, receipts, ingredients, packaging, labels, written instructions, and error messages.
Keep yourself in charge: where AI gets things wrong, what to verify, what not to share, and when an expert is still the right answer.
Come as you are. No prior AI experience, technical knowledge, coding skills, or paid subscription is required. Bring a charged laptop, phone, or tablet if you would like to try things hands-on, or simply observe and ask questions.
Registration is not required, but it is encouraged because seating is limited to 25 participants. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
Doors open at 11:15 AM.
This is an independently organized community workshop. Garfield County Libraries provides the venue and is not the event organizer or sponsor.
