For one special evening, we're creating a festival that isn't simply watched: It's one you help build.
Boston has no shortage of incredible creative communities. What we need are more places for them to collide...not more isolated communities...but more intersections!
A rainbow line for artists, musicians, dancers, makers, dreamers, and people who might never otherwise find themselves in the same room.
More spaces where strangers become collaborators, spectators become participants, and a simple “yes” can turn into something none of us could have created alone.
More places where strangers become collaborators. More reasons to say "yes". More opportunities to ask…WHAT IF?

What to Expect:
Expect a full day and night packed with live music, DJs, (music by Basement Project) interactive and immersive art, ecstatic dance, flow arts, communal art projects, an open jam, Makers' Alley, tarot, storytelling, the T-Station Tea Lounge, and plenty of surprises along the route.
For one day, we're creating a festival that isn't simply watched: IT IS ONE THAT YOU HELP BUILD BY RADICAL PARTICIPATION!
Grab your Charlie Card, and come help us build out the Rainbow Line: Bring an instrument. Add something to an art installation. Dance. Flow. Make something. Meet someone from a community you've never stepped into before. Wander off at the wrong stop. Start a conversation or collaborate with a stranger…. FOR THE LOVE OF THE T HERSELF, let’s connect to one another!

Boston's well-known Burning Man camp **Kool-Aid** is pulling into the station and taking over the bar, serving up their signature cocktails, questionable decisions, and the kind of hospitality that makes you wonder how you ended up making twelve new best friends before your next drink.
They've been quenching the thirst of Boston Burners for years, and at ¿What If?, they're bringing the full Kool-Aid experience to the Rainbow Line.
So follow the music. Find the bar. Choose your potion.
And for once in your life, ignore everything you've ever been told and...

Drinks will be available to purchase via a QR code to Venmo, Cashapp, or Zelle....And yes...we did get the proper permitting :)

Right back into the community. All of it.
Every dollar raised through ¿What If? goes toward future art projects, interactive installations, community events (yes, that means you can come too 👀), workshops, creative collaborations, and the future infrastructure of the Burning Man camps T-Station and Electric Kool-Aid.
That means more art to build. More weird ideas to bring to life. More spaces to gather. More opportunities to create together. And more of the infrastructure, equipment, and resources needed to bring our camps — and all the ridiculous magic that comes with them — to future Burns.
