About this Event
Was the American Revolution a transformative event? Scholars have long maintained that the ‘Great’ Revolutions —the French, Russian, and Chinese Revolutions fundamentally transformed history. Does the American Revolution Revolution belong in that category? This conference brings together leading scholars from North America and Europe to provide answers. They will focus on whether the American Revolution transformed the trajectory of American, Atlantic, European, and Global History.
