If your baby is screaming, their Survival Brain is on fire. Their behavior says 'I am loud and angry,' but what is the Need? Usually, it's containment or safety.
If we use CAVE, we:
• Contain the emotion.
• Acknowledge the stress.
• Validate that it’s hard.
• Empathise with that tiny Survival Brain.
Does seeing it as a 'Need' rather than a 'Naughty Behavior' change how your own Survival Brain reacts?
We will be delving into the CAVE structure and more.
Your booking also includes 45 minutes at our Nurture Table, our relaxed, informal social space where you can chat with the whole team, ask questions, meet other parents, make new friendships or simply sit back, listen and enjoy a little time together. No pressure, no expectations, just good company and a chance to connect.
Bring along your dinner and any snacks, we have microwaves on stie or you can order dinner in!
