Kia ora whanau,I am keen on our school holding a whanau hui for our Maori and Pasifika whanau for the purpose of exploring our whanau aspirations for their tamariki and their involvement in school and kapa haka.
Our kapa haka tutor is looking to develop a school haka, and would love the opportunity to engage with whanau about this.
We are also looking at how we can extend our kapahaka down to Year 1 from Term 1.
In addition, we would love to have a chat around the kind of learning experiences whanau would like for their tamariki during their 6 years at Moturoa School, the format of our Matariki/Puanga Celebration next year, and marae visits / noho for 2027.
