About this Event
Ever wonder what all the little trees are that you see when you’re walking along the Fisherman’s Lake area of Natomas? Well, so were we! Join your neighbors for a special event to explore the Fisherman’s Lake area with the Sacramento Tree Foundation’s Urban Ecology Department and learn why 1000 trees were planted in our community, what they are and why they are so important.
Loren O’Rourke from the Foundation will also be discussing the unique relationships among the Foundation, the City of Sacramento and the Natomas Basin Conservancy to restore and protect the precious resources in our area.
This is also a great opportunity to meet your neighbors and get a brief but spectacular view of the interesting things that are happening all around our area.
This event is organized by community members in partnership with the Sacramento Tree Foundation.
This is a free event, but please cancel if you do not plan to join us so we can plan accordingly.
Feel free to reach out with any questions.
