📚☘️ Book: The Briar Club by Kate Quinn📍 5 Points Coffee & Tea
🗓️ November 18
⏰ 6:30 - 8:00 PM
WE’RE HEADING BACK TO FIVE POINTS! 🇮🇪☘️
If you’ve been around West Park Book Club for a while, you probably remember 5 Points Coffee & Tea as one of our longtime gathering spots.
It’s been a while! This November, they’re opening their doors to us once again. We are so grateful and excited to be back at the old stomping grounds 🇮🇪☕️
It feels especially fitting that a month bringing us back to a piece of our own history will also have us diving into history together.
During a season when politics, elections, and the future are often top of mind, we like taking the opportunity to look backward and explore the people, events, and moments in history that helped shape where we are today.
This year, you chose The Briar Club by Kate Quinn.
📚 ABOUT THE READ
Set in 1950s Washington, D.C., The Briar Club brings together a group of women living under one roof during a complicated moment in American history.
It’s a historical mystery centered on friendship, secrets, loyalty, and the relationships formed in unexpected places — best enjoyed without knowing too much before you begin.
