🚴🔥 WEST MICHIGAN KAYAKING CLUB TAKES ON RAGBRAI 2027! 🔥🚴Not every adventure happens on the water!
Join members of West Michigan Kayaking Club for something completely different in 2027 — we’re heading to Iowa for RAGBRAI LIV, the legendary Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa!
🌽🚴 RAGBRAI 2027
📅 July 24–31, 2027
📍 Iowa
🚴 Approximately 500 miles across the state
Since 1973, RAGBRAI has brought thousands of cyclists together for an incredible week-long journey across Iowa. It’s far more than a bike ride — it’s a rolling festival featuring small towns, huge crowds, live music, camping, food, hospitality and an unforgettable cycling experience.
And in 2027, WMKC is getting in on the adventure!
We’re putting the kayaks on the rack and bringing the bikes. 😎
This will be a non-kayaking WMKC adventure for members who want to challenge themselves, see a different part of the country and experience one of the world’s most famous multi-day bicycle rides.
Whether you’re already an experienced cyclist or you’re interested in training for the challenge, now is the time to start thinking about it.
🔥 500-ish miles.
🔥 7 days of riding.
🔥 Thousands of cyclists.
🔥 Iowa small-town hospitality.
🔥 Camping and adventure.
🔥 One unforgettable week.
🚨 DETAILS COMING SOON!
We’re working on the logistics now, including transportation, camping, accommodations, equipment, training, costs and how WMKC members can participate as a group.
If you’re interested, let us know! The more people we have interested early, the easier it will be to coordinate our WMKC group plans.
This is going to be a completely different kind of WMKC adventure — but it’s the same philosophy:
Get outside. Challenge yourself. Explore somewhere new. Do it with good people.
🌊 Kayaks or 🚴 bikes — we’re always looking for the next adventure.
