About this Event
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND - IN THIS ANNUAL EVENT you experience a night where friends and families come together for an incredible journey of 60 massive hits from over 42 popular Musical Theatre productions spanning the decades. Yes, you will be entertained by singing and dancing for hours! Release your happy endorphines!
With Witchypoo as a DJ, and The Phantom Of The Opera as Master of Ceremonies, (Wendell Parnell), expect an evening bursting with songs you know and love. Everyone is encouraged to sing along following the lyrics on a big screen.
Sing-along nights are taking the world by storm. The brain behind ‘West End Vs Broadway’ is veteran promoter and musical theatre mega-fan, Wendell Parnell. "I’ve seen what happens when you put a room of people together for a night, singing their hearts out to these songs. It’s utterly incredible. People are having the time of their lives,” he said. "As a huge fan of musical theatre – I’ve been to see Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera more than 52 times, JC Superstar 31 times Les Misérables 23 times and Miss Saigon 19 times Chicago 16 times among many more. It made sense for me to present ‘West End Vs Broadway’ in this way."
The evening follows a simple format – a great venue, drinks, and food for purchase, a DJ playing the best musical hits, lyrics up on a big screen, and lots of fun to be had with prizes for the best dressed costume, (So come as your favourite Musical Theatre character and unleash your inner superstar). All attendees need to do is come along prepared to sing – and no, it doesn’t have to be good, just loud!
