“Window Dressing” is an in-person art exhibition for the general public.
About the exhibition
Curated by Mare Akana, this multi-artist show runs November 8–22, 2026, at the West End Art Gallery, 132 West End Ave, Long Branch, NJ. Thirteen artists explore windows as physical, metaphorical, and psychological entryways into different viewpoints, considering perception, perspective, and how people see and are seen by the world.
Opening reception
Join the opening reception on Sunday, November 8, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with curated tours, artist discussions, and light refreshments.
Visiting hours and information
The gallery is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM. For guests attending NJ Rep’s Theatre Brut Short Play Festival, the gallery will also open one hour before showtime on November 13, 14, 20, and 21. Visitors are welcome to browse the collection and use the auditorium hospitality lounge before the performance.
