Join us in Gold Coast on Thursday, April 9, at 6:00 pm for a networking session and an informative and insightful presentation by our featured member speaker, Dr. Donna Smith Bolinger.

This conversation is for women business owners who are already showing up — at WESOS events, networking breakfasts, chamber meetings, and community gatherings — but walking away with a stack of business cards and zero new clients. Women who are genuinely likable, well-connected, and great at building relationships, but who have never been taught the bridge between making a connection and making a sale.

It also speaks directly to career women in client-facing or business development roles who rely on relationships to grow their book of business but feel uncomfortable making "the ask" — whether that's asking for a referral, a contract, or a meeting that moves things forward.

🌟 Key Takeaways:

1. Visibility isn’t the problem—conversion is.

These women are already doing the “right” things: showing up, networking, building relationships. The gap isn’t effort—it’s not knowing how to turn those interactions into actual revenue.

2. Likability without strategy stalls growth.

Being personable and well-connected is a strong foundation, but without a clear process to guide conversations toward business outcomes, those connections stay social instead of profitable.

3. The real blocker is discomfort with asking.

Whether it’s asking for a sale, referral, or next-step meeting, there’s a hesitation around making direct asks. That discomfort is the exact point where opportunities are being lost—and where the biggest growth potential sits.
