Wellness Through Words & Music returns for its 2nd year
Wellness Through Words & Music is an inspiring event dedicated to the power of artistic expression in promoting well-being and mental health awareness. Organised by Hillside Clubhouse in collaboration with Beautifully Chosen, our mission is to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals can share their journeys through poetry, spoken word, and music. By amplifying diverse voices and lived experiences, we aim to foster healing, connection, and understanding, breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health through the arts.
We have an exciting lineup of guests to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, with the event hosted by Tiwa King, a two-time TED Talk speaker, BBC Radio contributor, and award-winning social entrepreneur.
This year’s theme, 'Echoes of Wellbeing' highlights the power of shared experiences and the positive ripple this can have through communities and spaces.
Whether performing or listening, come be part of a safe and supportive space where voices are heard, stories are shared, and meaningful conversations about mental health are encouraged.
