💚Kia ora! Welcome to the Wellington Recycling Challenge!💚We are so excited to finally introduce our little project to the wider Wellington community!
What started as a simple recycling activity with tamariki has slowly grown into something much bigger - a fun, hands-on challenge that brings people together to learn, play and discover how to recycle correctly.
Because let's be honest...recycling can sometimes be confusing! 🤔
Does this go in the recycling bin? What about lids, soft plastics or greasy pizza boxes?
That's exactly what we're here to explore!
🌿 Our mission is simple:
To make recycling fun, encourage conversations, share knowledge and inspire small changes that can make a big difference to our environment.
🎉 And we're kicking things off during Recycling Week 2026!
📅 19–24 October 2026
📍 Kilbirnie Library, Wellington
👨👩👧👦 Everyone is welcome!
Come along, test your recycling knowledge, learn something new and have some fun!
There will even be opportunities to win some lovely prizes, generously donated by our supporters!
💚 We'd love your support!
Follow our page, share it with your friends and whānau, and help us spread the word.
We're only just getting started, and we'd love to take you on this journey with us!
