About this Event

On Wednesday 20th May, we will be riding around the Avenham and Miller Park circular. A gentle pedal around 2 of Preston’s iconic parks.

Distance: 4 miles

Easy with limited climbing sections: off road

What to expect:

· Small, friendly groups (max 8 riders)

· 4–6-mile gentle routes

· Parks, waterways and woodland – including Avenham Park, Miller Park, Preston Docks, the Marina, Brockholes Nature Reserve and the banks of the River Ribble

· Mainly traffic-free paths and local cycle routes

· A café stop and time to chat


No bike? No problem! Bring your own bike or borrow one of our refurbished bikes and a helmet – free of charge.

Supportive and welcoming

· Getting back in the saddle

· Wanting to ride a little more, a little further, with company

· Want to find out about social cycling groups and support for everyday cycling in Preston
