By Grade 11 or 12, many young people are already carrying expectations about who they are supposed to become.By Grade 11 or 12, many young people are already carrying expectations about who they are supposed to become.
Some know exactly what they want to do. Others are uncertain. Some have struggled academically, socially or personally. Some have been labeled by their circumstances, their mistakes or the expectations others have placed on them.
Welcome to Tomorrow is designed to give young people something different:
A room where their past does not define them.
For one evening, students will have the opportunity to sit beside people they have never met, have meaningful conversations, discover careers they may never have considered, and experience firsthand how one conversation can open a door to an entirely different future.
This is an immersive youth gala combining:
Inspirational speakers
Music and live entertainment
Career discovery
Mentorship
Networking
Interactive experiences
Corporate and community leaders
Structured student-professional conversations
Opportunities for employment, internships and mentorship
But the heart of the evening is The Blind Table.
