As part of my preparation for directing the show, I traveled to Gander, Newfoundland and the surrounding communities. I was able to visit and photograph the actual places connected to the incredible events that inspired Come From Away. I’d like to pay-it-forward and share some of that experience with our local theatre community. We’ll talk about what Gander and Newfoundland are really like, look at photographs of locations connected to the story, learn more about the people and events behind the musical, and spend time working with the Newfoundland dialect, pronunciation, vocabulary and expressions heard throughout the show.
While this is not an audition workshop for my production, I'm happy to answer questions and be a resource for performers and theatre artists preparing for any of the productions happening in our area.
Workshop is Free. Seating is limited- Reservation Required.
